For my interview I picked Sonja Braig a local board certified social worker, registered social worker, and Child Psychotherapist. She works at Brightstar counselling as the clinical director. She has worked for the school board as a Clinical Social Worker for many years, developing treatment plans and doing psychosocial assessments. She has also worked in hospitals as part of a multidisciplinary team and on community teams delivering specialized intervention services to complex children and youth. I chose her to interview for my community connection project because one day I want to be apart of a team that helps people and families through there struggles. Some things i learned about this job is the while doing the interview is how cool the bonds with the team is. Everyone who works at Brightstar gets together so well and really work together good.

Fun fact about Brightstar!: They bring dogs into work! The dogs help the kids during there sessions and help release stress.
