The daily life would look similar to a 9 to 5 job as she will have to work after school hours to prepare lessons and will evaluate her students work. The necessary education would include university with a Bachelor of Education degree as well as a practicum. Being an elementary school teacher would be a well-suited career for me because I’m creative, open-minded, patient and determined. Creativity will help me create new and exciting lessons to keep the students engaged, being open-minded will allow me plan out lessons made for a variation of students by adjusting to their needs. Patience and determination will help me teach these lessons using different methods and styles until the students comprehend. My interests in science, French and creative writing (English) will be of use depending on the subject taught; however, the three offer a great selection when finding an available spot. I’m improving on my areas for future growth (analyzing information and time management) and will be gradually improved each day as these are key to succeed.
