I have a new idea for inquiry! I want to make a snake (made of clay). It’d be really fun to make a somewhat small snake with scales and maybe a rattle at the end etc. It doesnt have to be food safe so i can paint it with acrylic paint, but id really like to have it shiny but maybe theres a way to do it without overglaze? The reason why Im not just immediately thinking to use underglaze and then a clear overglaze the underglazes dont have too many colors and I feel like to make it the colors of green I want, I would need several different shades of green with a bit of blue, and there isnt too many shades of green here. Maybe i could buy some small bottles myself? I’m really excited by the idea of it working and I have a pretty clear picture in my head of what id want it to look like so Im hoping I can find a way to make this work.
