V is more of a terrorist because even though his overall mission was good he used violent and extreme methods to get what he wanted. It was hard for me to decide whether V was a freedom fighter or a terrorist because of the fact that his mission was to save the people and expose what the government was doing and what they had done to him. What drew the line and made V a terrorist for me was that he killed people and put innocent people in danger. I understand that he couldn’t have gotten what he wanted without using violence because the government would just shut him down, but I feel that some of the actions he took were unnecessary and that if his true goal was to save people he wouldn’t have put them in danger like he did. For example when V dressed up the people at Evey’s work like himself he was putting innocent people in danger and could have avoided the situation. In my opinion if V was a freedom fighter he wouldn’t have done this and would have only put the people he believed had done wrong in that position. Another huge thing that made V a terrorist in my eyes was that he killed people. I dont believe that any one person should have the power to decide who lives and who dies. The fact that he didn’t even feel bad or sorry for the people he killed and made him more of a terrorist. If he truly believed killing those people was the only way to show people of the city what the government had done then felt remorseful for doing so, then maybe in my eyes he would seem a bit more like a freedom fight than a terrorist. V is a terrorist because he hurt, frightened, and killed people to prove his point. It would be unreasonable to conclude that V is anything but a terrorist because of the things that he has done.
