Reflection:
In our short stop motion film, we tried to set the point across that you should never let money get the best of you. Your morals shouldn’t interfere with money. The author of this short story was trying to convey that money is not worth a human life. In our film, we added 3 elements that we thought would be the best at giving the story more character and depth. First off, we added the doorbell scene; then we added a dream about Norma thinking about what she would do if she pressed the button; and finally, we added an ambulance scene to foreshadow the death of Arthur. We used communication in the assignment when we communicated with each other to make sure all of us were doing our part and keeping each other on track. We also used creative thinking because we were creative in our set up. This is because we used our math books as stands, markers to hold our background, and a pencil holder as a makeshift tripod. Finally, we used personal and social thinking. We showed this by persevering when one of the Lego character’s heads wouldn’t come off, so we used the hair to make the head look like it was turning. Overall, all of us worked well together and collaborated on the assignment. We must surely grow from any adversity we faced. This project brought all of us together and it was very fun to collaborate with each other.
