Step 2: Answer the questions below in a detailed paragraph format. Provide evidence and/or artifacts in your blog post.

•Reflect on your previous reflection goals from the midterm reflection. What are some things that went well, what were some challenging areas. What are some things your learned.

My midterm goal was to be more inclusive since i was able to talk to the girls by half way but thought it would be a good idea to also to tot he guys when on my team to make everyone feel comfortable. I feel like i did a good job at this since i am supportive to my team and make connects to bring everyone’s spirits up.

•After reading and understanding the curricular competencies provided above, take a moment to think about how they relate to you. Choose some the resonate with you. When ready, write a brief reflective response to the following questions:

◦What are your strengths? What are some things you believe you are good at? Provide examples of your strengths.

One of my strengths is respecting the rules. I understand that what our teachers say is important and should be followed so that everyone is safe and treated well. I do this when we are on given instructions on field trips so that i am safe along with the people around me. An example of this is when we went on the hike to jug island. When ever the teachers told us to stop walking so that we could regroup i did.

◦What are areas where you can grow and develop?

I think i can probably grow in safety. I actually hurt myself a lot for some reason. An example of this was when we were giving people piggy backs and running to the line and back. With my partner Kolby i was the one giving her a piggy back and so i ran but couldn’t hold up her weight anymore and started tipping forwards. We both fell to the ground and i really hurt myself knees. I had bruises for a few weeks after that. I probably should have started off with running slower or just known that I couldn’t carry her weight. Another time i hurt myself was when we were doing the run to lions park. I was going down the mettle slide and while i thought i was at the end of it i got up and hit my head. It hurt extremely and i was feeling dizzy but didnt want to fail and not run so i kept going after. My head hurt for a week after and if i made sure my head wouldnt hit anything then i could have avoided that injury.

◦What can you do to achieve this goal?

i can try extra hard to do things that wont cause me harm and just be overall careful.
