This week, my best mistake was on the midterm flashback question 2 which was to write -2\sqrt{3} as an entire radical. I forgot that you are able to leave the negative sign behind outside of the radical, so that there is still an answer. Instead I answered \sqrt{-12} which there is no solutions to because you cannot take the square root of a negative number. the correct answer would be -\sqrt{12}.
