SCIENCE COMMUNICATION ~ STEP 8
RESULTS:
What did you learn ?
I got reintroduced to the independent, dependent and controlled variables in science experiments. It helped me learn that the independent variable was the styles of paper airplanes we created. The dependent variable was the distance each plane flew. Lastly, the controlled variable was the unit of measurement and the starting point of all paper planes. I also learnt that the thinner the plane is, the smoother it glided and the further it went.
What would you do differently next time?
Next time I would focus more on how hard I am throwing my arm to release the paper plane. I believe I did a good job at trying to throw each plane the same way, however, some throws may have had a little bit more force than others. Next time, I would also like to see how long those three paper airplanes stay flying in the air for.
