In this week, I learned about inequalities and systems.
I chose this one because I forgot everything about this one.
For example, I forgot about open dot and closed dot.
But this class reminded me of these things. That’s why I chose this one.
I wrote some information which I should memorize.
Open dot : It represented by an empty dot, and are used to symbolize a greater than or less than relationship. This type of dot is used in both number lines and coordinate grids.
Closed dot : It represented by a filled-in dot, and are used in order to symbolize a greater than or equal/less than or equal relationship. This type of dots are used in both number lines and coordinate grids.
Also, don’t forget to reverse the equal sign when changing from negative to positive.
I tried to solve work paper question 4 number 2.
At first, I chose one from any number and insert equation. In this time, I chose X=0. After this, I got one coordinate. This is (0,5).
Next, I chose another one. I should think about which number is more useful than an0ther numbers. In this time, I should choose multiple of 5. This is because if I choose the number which mutiple of 5, I can get integer value of Y.
I chose X=5 and got coordinate (5,5). I keep doing this process until I solve every variable value in graph.
Finally, I got linear graph. After that, I have to see condition in this question. This one say when X is 0, value of Y is bigger than 7. when X is 5, value of Y is bigger than 5. So, answer is the area which above the linear graph.
