A strength I have in atomic theory is reading the periodic table properly, which allows me to collect the right data to complete a question. A weakness I have in this unit is Identifying materials in a chart. A strength I have in the Bonding unit is being able to identify molecular shapes through the VSEPR theory. A weakness I have in the Bonding unit is finding the polarity of bonds. A strength I have in the Mol unit is Percent Composition. A weakness I have is understanding word problems.

Math Week 10 Blog Post #10
This week in math, I learned about linear equations and how to graph them. When finding the coordinates, you must first find the pattern of how much the “Y” increases or decreases. you take that number and now you can write an equation. X times that number, and then you find how much is needed in order to get X. Finally you can input the coordinates on a chart by starting with “X” which goes across, and “Y” which goes up and down.
(I tried to add pictures but for some reason i cant upload them so there are none)
Math 10 Blog #8
This week in math I learned how to factorize polynomial expressions. When doing so, you first find if there are any common factors. If so, you can divide the whole question by that factor and put the number you divided by on an outside bracket. You then find any common terms, like XY and also put it on the outside of the bracket. finally, you take the rest of the numbers and divide them
Math 10 Week #3
This week I learned about scientific notation. Scientific notation is used when writing big numbers or small numbers. These numbers usually take to long t0 write down, so a formula is used to make it easier. This formula is a number multiplied by 10 to the power of how many zeros you want to add. If your number is a decimal, then you can use a negative exponent to find how many zeros you need. When writing scientific notation, you have to remember to keep your number with only one digit in the ones place and the rest in the decimal spot. If you are trying to find the distance to the moon, It would be 384,400 Km. But in scientific notation, it would be 3.844 times 10 to the power of 2.
