I learned “angle of elevation” and “angle of depression” this week. We have two lines. One is horizontal line and the other is line of sight. Horizontal line is the line where the object we refer to is located. Line of sight is the slope line formed when we look at another object from the reference position. Angle of elevation and angle of depression is the angle formed between these two lines. So, for example, when a dog looks at a plane flying in the sky, an angular elevation occurs. And angle of depression occurs when looking at a bicycle on the ground from the top of a building.
