Electrical Safety Poster 2023 Reference Page

While making this poster project I used many sites to inform me on the ways to keep me and the people around me safe in the case of an electrical safety hazard. These articles are cited below.

This article from the government of Canada has many links to other parts of the website with very valuable information. The website not only has links, but also has its own information on the safety around electricity at home, outdoors, in the workplace and more.

On point number 5 under the steps to take if you are in a car accident, this website gives us information on the proper way to shuffle, and the do’s and don’ts.

Article four is yet another article I used to inform myself on the ways to spot risks, as well as what to do when in risk myself. It mentions BC Hydro’s “3 keys of electrical safety”. Scanning for risks, moving away 10m, and dialing 911.
