One of the categories I have learned in math for week one is Whole numbers, a whole number is simply any positive number that does not include a fractional or decimal part, this means that, for example the numbers 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7 are whole numbers. How are whole numbers used? Whole numbers such as 0,1 and 2 are the building blocks to understanding more complex number identifiers like real numbers, rational numbers, and irrational numbers. Rounding to the nearest whole number can also help you make calculations or help you understand to do mental math more.
