Public broadcasting is a government funded media that includes radio, television, and other ways of information sharing. CBC is Canada’s public broadcaster. It was established in 1936 as an interwar product. In 1958 CBC found a way to start streaming their content coast to coast. Public broadcasting is getting funded by the government which means they should not get money from commercials, but Canada’s public broadcaster is using advertisements as a way of funding. Some people might not agree with public broadcasting because a lot of tax money go into the public broadcasting media. To appeal to modern audience public broadcasting shows diversity and discusses society minorities.
