My Goals

1. How do you hope to integrate these photography skills into your day-to-day life? (Social settings, capturing memories with friends, side hustle?)

I will use photography skills in social events like weddings, parties, and while I’m with my friends and family. while taking these photos I will use the skills I learnt about lighting and keeping the photo clear.

2. How do you plan to keep challenging yourself creatively through your photography?

keep doing photography in general so like taking photos and buying my own camera. by doing this I can have this as my passion and do this on the side when I’m bored. maybe even start my own profile on social media to get my name out there.

3. Set a minimum of 3 goals for you in relation to anything creative or photography related that you hope to continue fostering as you move on from this course.

start my own portfolio.

practice taking pictures of pretty views.

practice more macro photography because I find it cool.

My Best Photos

I really like this photo because you can see the details of the tree and its clear. this photo was for the macro project and i feel that it was one of my best photos that i took for this project. something I learnt was how to take a picture up close with a macro-Lense and without a macro-Lense. this project was challenging because it took me awhile to figure out how to make the pictures super clear. this picture could be improved if the background was less blurry.

this is my dog Charlie, Charlie loves getting this photo taken. I went home to do a photoshoot of my dog and this is the one I chose to upload for my project. This assignment was the themes assignment my theme for this photo was black and white. i learned how to use the camera settings to back the photo black and white. the hardest part was keeping my dog still. I liked that my dog was looking straight at the camera. this photo could have been better if my dog was more centered.

photography bio

My name is Diya Jhutti and I took photography 11. I took this course because I thought it would be a cool class to take and I wanted to learn more about photography and cameras.

in this course I learnt about how to use the cameras and all the features on it and I learnt about how to position my camera to take a good picture.

in photography I feel pretty good because it’s a pretty stress-free class and I enjoy having this course as my second morning class because of that reasoning. My photography is great. the photos I have taken from now to the end of gradually improved in general due to help from friends and my teacher.

one thing I found challenging in this class was having my pictures stay focused and clear. I overcame this challenge with practice and getting to know how to use my camera better.

in the future I would like to use photography in special events and occasions or when I’m traveling.
