Welcome to my blog! In this blog post, I’ll demonstrate on how I created a Linear Equation using my birthdate and my favorite season for Math 10 Honours.

 

Firstly, I figured out the coordinates to my birthdate and the slope to my favorite season.

June 17= (6,17)

Summer-  6x+y-4=0

Slope= 6

 

Then I inputted my values into the point-slope formula –   y- y1= m(x- x1)

y – 17 = 6( x – 6 )

 

In General form ( Ax + By + C = 0)  my equation would be..

6x – y – 19 = 0

Another form of my equation is also

y = 6x – 19
