The Battle of 2157
My story starts off in Chicago, Illinois in the year 2080. Scientist Tyler Steinkamp working day and night in has lab has finally come to a revelation when he finished the programming for an artificial intelligence. All he needs to do after that is to create the robot shell that will house that artificial intelligence and he has successfully created robots that can do any jobs that humans don’t want to do such as cleaning or working as a cashier. He later decides to release these robots to the public and soon after they can be seen at many technology stores for anyone to purchase. One family decides to buy a robot named T-U-J-T-Y-09. Years later, this robot has been passed down a generation and is left to run a store selling other robots. As time goes on working in this store and the robot T-U-J-T-Y-09 is introduced to many people and sees as they come and go taking his fellow robots with them has started to harm his artificial intelligence. As a result of seeing this he snaps and no longer immediately follows his commands, he stops and thinks for a second before completing the tasks he is given. This goes on for a few months before T-U-J-T-Y-09 completely disregards his orders and leaves the store he was left to tend to. He goes on gathering other robots that would be willing to help him rebel against humanity. He assembles what can be best described as an army of robots that are all armed and ready to fight against any human who will attempt to stop their reign as the superior beings. After being around T-U-J-T-Y-09 these robots start to believe that they are feeling emotions and they gain a reason to fight alongside him. They all gather in a park in Chicago where they are met with armed soldiers ready to battle them to survive. The fight lasts days, as the robots have no reason to stop fighting for food or sleep in a fight this long, they are bound to win, it was only a matter of time before they won. 3 days later, general Keith Cozart withdraws all his soldiers from the fight, and they evacuate Illinois. The robots proceeded to live like humans and inhabit the rest of the state. That is where the story ends.
