Milgrim’s Theory David Andrews

Milgrim’s theory is not like Golding’s view of humans, though similar it is not exact. Golding’s view was that all humans are born savages and evil, but Milgrim’s experiment does not share the same thought, Milgrim’s experiment, rather, gives an example of peer pressure. The test subjects were actually being forced to by pain. Anytime they shocked they questioned if they were alright and they continued.

In conclusion, the experiment could not be the same in the sense that they forced through pressure, with how Golding’s story goes, the boys are only doing what happens in the moment, either because of adrenaline or need for survival.
