What questions did you need to research to create your sway?
Some questions I had to research to create this sway were:
What is the color of francium?
When and where was francium discovered?
Who discovered francium?
Unknown facts about francium?
How much does francium cost per gram?
What are some common uses of francium?
What reaction does francium have with water?
What is the melting and boiling point of francium?
What is the half-life of francium?
How many protons, electrons and neutrons does francium have?
What is the symbol of francium?
Fun facts about francium?
Who named francium?
What new or familiar digital tools did you use and how did you verify that information?
Some tools I used to research for this project were:
Youtube
Wikipedia
Rsc.org
Chemicool.com
Britannica
Softschools.com
Sciencenotes.org
I was able to verify information used in this project by checking multiple sources such as britannica and chemicool to see if the facts were similar.
How did the process of completing this project go? and what could have you done better?
The process of completing this project was a time consuming process because I had to check out multiple websites and write them down on a piece of paper so I could cite my sources. I also had to verify my sources and try to find share-free images which was really hard since there aren’t many share-free images about francium. I also had to make sure that I put the information I got from my sources in my own words, and not just copy paste the information.
Some things I could have done better is get more photos and beef up some parts of the sway such as when and where was francium discovered. Though I tried my hardest to get as much information as I could for this assignment. In the end this project helped me understand this element a lot more and the things I learned from this project will help me with my future assignments.
