Single Room Occupancy (SRO) housing is often called “the final stop before homelessness”.  Today we will explore the challenges with this housing and why it is not an ideal option for many.

Residents living on the streets in Vancouver have a tumultuous relationship with the city.  We will explore the long history and the most recent attempt by the city to close down a homeless encampment.

Our focus today is learning about the severity of homelessness in BC, with a specific focus on Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley.  There is an activity to complete in One Note.

1. Complete and submit ARP Stage 2 Marking a Plan for Change by midnight
