MATHEMATICS 9 HONOURS
COURSE CODE: MMA – – 09H
This course will allow students to cover the mathematics 9 curricular content at an accelerated pace so that time can be devoted to enrichment and exploring problem solving at the higher levels of Bloom’s taxonomy. This will include preparation and participation in several math contests and Riverside’s Math Challenge Club. Students must enjoy challenges and have a passion for solving non-routine problems. Students will also be expected to share their expertise by acting as tutors. There is an application process for this class, including an assessment.
