If you’re looking for a restaurant to take your family, a friend, a special someone, or maybe just to have a good time, there’s a restaurant for you. It goes by the name of Mr. Mikes and it has the best food in the lower mainland. The moment you walk into the restaurant it looks like you’re in a Canadian log cabin with a canoe hanging from the ceiling with fishing nets. You are also greeted and welcomed in by beautiful waitresses who lead You to where you would like to sit. You can choose either a booth or the lodge the seats are also a a very cosy leather. Now lets talk about the food, the food is spectacular and the menu varies from the kickass chicken salad to the epic RAGIN CAGUN RIB EYE. The ragin cajun is a tender steak rubbed with spices and sautéed and crowned with creole butter, but with all that flavour and taste it comes with a hefty price that will set you back 31$. The top voted food at the restaurant is the Bacon Mac and Cheese which is a portion of triple elbow noodles, smoky bacon, aged white cheddar and bread crumbs served with crisp garden greens drizzled with balsamic vinaigrette. In your first bite the gooey cheese and bacon combined just melts in your mouth but you’ll be surprised that it is only 13$. If you’re not somebody who likes to have a load of carbohydrates you can have the Bugaboo Ribs which is a full pound of St. Louis style ribs marinated in Mr. Mikes very own antler ale infused grizzly BBQ sauce served with coleslaw, fries, and fresh crunchy garlic bread. I come to this restaurant every Friday with my family and I’m very grateful for that because we get to know the workers there. The manager is a very nice guy and yes, his name is Guy. Overall if your looking for a great time at a great restaurant come on down to your local Mr. Mikes and enjoy yourself.
