  • Explain the difference between theoretical and experimental probability.  Give examples.
  • Find 3 examples (different from the examples already discussed in class) of misleading statistics used in the media and explain why they are misleading

Alprazolam (Xanax)

Alprazolam or Xanax is a controlled substance that is medically used to treat  anxiety and panic disorders.  Alprazolam is classified as a Benzodiazepines drug.  this class of drug acts on the brain and nerves to produce a calming effect.  Enhances the effect of a natural chemical in the body (GABA).

Can cause addiction and seizures.  This drug has many side effects.  These include hallucinations, and dizziness, and physical side effects such as swelling on the face, tongue, and throat.
