After reading the cage by “ruth minsky sender”. In this story there is a family and this family is going through hard times because the time period they live in is 1949 when the holocaust . there was a lot of sick nes such as tuberculosis. And they’re just taking innocent Jewish people away and now they have taken the children’s Mother away and the manager of the building I live in used to be their best friend and so did her son but then they turned against them enjoying the Germans and took all their possessions and cut down the oak tree now one of the kids are sick so the other kid carries him all the way to the doctor’s office over the bridge across town and they finally get to the doctor’s office they tell doctor told her what’s wrong but he does not have anything to give also they’re making Jewish people were extremely long hours and they’re only giving them small rations of food barely enough food to survive and the children’s Mother is it looking very sick because she’s been giving all her rations to your sick son at home and the children treated all of their bread for one week just to get one nectarine now they’re all going to be starving for the next week but they split the neck. Because this week it said I can’t eat it all myself
