• What are some things that were challenging?

There was nothing too challenging about this assignment besides the fact that the day I did this I got three hours of sleep and my attention span was 0.1 seconds. Also, the anxiety I got from just doing simple tasks and knowing that I might have to start from scratch made the completion of my masterpiece so much better. In short, it was just challenging enough, to which I think that all tech team assignments should have this level of difficulty.

• What are some things that worked well?

What is great about Cricut is that it enables others and me in Tech Team to use their imagination to the fullest. For my first mask, I only did one layer and I am eager to do one with two (and use a better mask). I had the help of multiple people so I might have some rose-tinted glasses on. This is by far the best assignment that I have done for Tech Team. Something that I don’t think we should do (but are already going to do it) is mass produce these things. The magic of Cricut is that it is a DIY. I would never have had the pride for my first mask. There was a lot of good about this, however, my mind is not there right now.

• What did you learn? How can you apply this?

I learned how to use Cricut and I think that is pretty significant. I also learned a variety of small problem-solving skills. I can apply the problem-solving skills to real-life in a multitude of ways. The Cricut on the other hand is a little more tricky. There are a lot of things like the Cricut (laser cutters) and those are getting more common these days. In conclusion, I enjoyed my time with Cricut.

Things to mention:

• I did give my mask away to my friend
• For some reason there are a lot of people using the Cricut which is good, but, the maker space is always crowded now
• Some peoples reviews may not be as good as mine because they had difficulties with the machine
• Weeks after my review (currently), I had a little bit of rose-tinted glasses on but not much. This machine is pretty darn good. However, since it is now popular, the magic isn’t there as much as it used to be. But everyone should try it.
