The following is an exploration of “Birds on a Wire,” created by Banksy through a poem on the learning concept of inclusivity and respect.
“different”
They shoot me down
They tell me to leave
They say I don’t belong
They chant “GO, GO,GO”
And say I’m a threat
As if I did something wrong
Their welcome was cold
And it all soon got old
Just because I was not raised like them
And my heart doesn’t beat the same as their drums
I’m like a dandelion in a field of daisies
growing proud and tall
