Scientific Method & Paper Airplanes

What did you learn?

I learned a lot about the scientific method and paper airplanes during our Paper Airplane lab.  I learned how important it is to do multiple trials for each time you manipulate the independent variable because you can get varied results each time.  For our largest paper airplane, we got our shortest distances and our longest distances during our multiple trials but if we had just done one trial, we would have gotten a much different result.  I also learned that even though you may get a longer distance when you have a bigger paper airplane, you also have more inconsistent results.

What would you do different next time?

Next time I would try to throw the paper airplanes so it would give more consistent results.  I think our lab went very successfully and I would not do much differently next time.
