For this project, I feel like I used critical thinking and personal awareness because I had to think critically when making my decisions of what house I wanted to buy and what car and how I was going to make sure I meet all the criteria. I use personal awareness when it can to the subscription part of the project. I have to make decisions about what I wanted more because I knew I could not afford everything I wanted. I do not think I had a challenge per se, but when I have almost finished the project, I realized I did not have as much money as I would like. Therefore, I changed the car I was getting and the house, then I saved more money, and I was also able to get Netflix and that was something I had to cut off before because I did not have enough money.

The car monthly cost surprised me the most I think because I knew they were expensive, but I thought it was only going to be like $200 a month but it was more the $850 a month and that was really shocking for me. At first, I had Netflix in my subscriptions, then I saw how little money I had so I took it out. But then after changing the house and the car I had some extra money, so I added it back. This project put it into perspective how much it costs just to live, and I always knew that it is important to save money but now I really understand how important it is because I got to see how much living is. I think it is very important because we need to know what to expect when we go into the real world and how are we going to know if that interest rate for the loan you got for school is bad if no one taught you that it is.
