I learned about Point slope form
For example:
1 (-7,-7)
1/1 (x+7)=y+7
x+7=y+7
x=y
so what I did in the second part I put the 1 into fraction form, then put brackets and wrote x+7 in it because the x is the first -7 and the y is the second number. but when you put the x and y number to the formula you have to but it in the opposite sign, so if I had -6 for example I would switch it to 6 and the same goes for y. after writing down x+7 in the brackets you write down = y +7. then you times the fraction with what is inside the brackets. Then all you have to do is get the y by it self, so you – the 7 and what ever you do to one side you must do to the other. so at the end you will have x=y
I find that this way of doing it is easy for me because everything is organized and its easy to remember. So I recommend using this way.
