Love You Forever One-Pager

This is my One-Pager on the Children’s book Pathways to Theme assignment. The assignment was to choose a children’s book and create a One-Pager about it on the Human Condition. The story I chose was Love You Forever, by Robert Munsch.

1. Why did you choose this artifact?

I chose this artifact because I have read “Love You Forever” since I was a child and I have really enjoyed it. This book very clearly illustrates the unconditional love that mothers provide for their children. And the part where the mother passes away, always gets me very emotional. It got me to think deeply and appreciate everything my mom has done for me before it is too late. It is a very interesting story that I suggest children to read, and it is a very addicting book that I could read over and over.

2. What personal strategies did you use to generate ideas?

The inspiration of the song verse for the connection to world, actually came from a song that I was listening to while working on the One-Pager. The song name is: This is what autumn feels like, by jvke. A commonly used strategy for me to generate ideas on this One-Pager was from listening to songs. I listened to mostly love and sad songs, just so I can get a taste of the joy and pain that love brought to the writer or singer of the song.

3. What could you have done differently and why?

I could have definitely worked better on my cursive hand writing, it is not the best hand writing I could have possibly done. And I struggled to write the letter, s. Another one I should have definitely done better would be the spacing of my writings. It is very cramped and the topic of the paragraph I wrote about is not clarified clearly.
