Creating a presentation on a selected one of the “Calls to Action” gave me the opportunity to learn more about how mistreated the Indigenous community is by the Canadian government. After watching and listening to other’s presentations on this topic, I have been able to truly see how many inhumain issues there are.

Though steps are being made every day to improve the livelihood of First Nations in Canada, the damage has already been done.

Many of the “Calls to Action” have been addressed and compromised by the government, but there are also many that have been disregarded. With that, I would love to see an improvement within the government on listening to individual stories and experiences of First Nations negatively affected by our past mistakes.
