Genocide Project – Holodomor

From doing this project, I learned how much this genocide affected people even in further generations.  The famine made people scared and they began to turn on each other.  The inability to work to get money to live ruined peoples chances of making it through.  Millions died and they could have been helped.

Residential School Inter-Generational Reflection

Residential schools have broken down the cultures and traditions of indigenous people.  Suppressing them from speaking their language, celebrating traditions, and stopping them from being able to practice their spiritualities.  Over the years this loss has grown.  The loss of culture through one child stopped their children and then their kids and it has continued…
