Holocaust Timeline Reflection
The holocaust started from people who believed that they were more superior than the Jewish people. Hitler became a large force in the growth of the holocaust from creating marriage laws and encouraging the people and army to become more hostile like vandalizing stores. It eventually started to accelerate quickly and Jewish schools were made and then they sent people to concentration camps and it got bad very quickly.
One’s experience in the holocaust depends on what group they are from. Many groups of people like the gypsies were targeted and put into camps. The experiences of people range from working 12 hour shifts at one of the camps to hiding in a garden shed. At first, where you lived didn’t impact you unless you were in Germany. Jewish people who went to Italy or other places were not prosecuted. But once those countries were surrendered, they were sent to camps or killing centers. Jewish, gypsies and even people who converted to another religion from Jewish were all prosecuted and taken away. Non-Aryan people were never safe.
