“Assimilation vs. Inclusivity,”. In this photo i see collaboration and color.

In the photo above I see collaboration because all these people are coming together and acknowledging what happened to each other in these residential schools how these people were beat and there culture was striped away from them.

In the picture all the kids are seated in rows and going from right to left they are slowly losing there colors showing the transformation from residential schools.

The photo is showing color and the evidence of this is slowly the color of the children fade out implying that they are deferent now and at the end they are grey making them seem empty inside.

Back to collaboration the writers when drawing they understated the importance that we remember what happened to these children and how there culture and family were taken from them and we should support these people.

This drawing is showing the importance of reconciliation day and how we should remember and support first nation communities and what they have been through.
