Proganda Types

For the propaganda types that I did were Bandwagon, Name calling, Repetition and fear. The fear was extremely easy because Mr. Jones abuses the animals. So what I did for fear was Mr. Jones saying that he’s not going to stop and there’s a sign over him saying “Stop Jones” like how when the election was going on there was a commercial saying “Stop Harper” the last prime minster. For Bandwagon I did the animal having fun without Mr. Jones bossing them around and slaving around. It’s Bandwagon because the fun things to do and none of the negatives. It’s exactly like the Nazi Youth poster that was shown as an example in class as Bandwagon. For name calling it says in the title “Mr. Jones is a rude person”. That’s name calling because that’s labeling someone with any proof. To humans selling the name products is normal but to an animal that’s just straight up mean because the animals don’t have a choice. For repetition it’s saying Mr. Jones is mean all over the poster. In colour it has the words “Mr. Jones doesn’t care for anyone but himself”. It kind of brainwashes you by saying that phrase so many times. Whatever the opposing side says you would still remember the poster says about Mr. Jones says. For example the poster of Obama running for president says “Change” three times with his face. So the four techniques I used were fear by saying the animals are getting abused and Mr. Jones won’t stop. Name calling by saying that “Mr. Jones is a rude person” as the title. Repetition by saying he’s doesn’t care for anyone but himself all over the page. Bandwagon by only seeing the positives on the animal’s freedom.
