The newly acquired information I learned during the sex education unit will help me in me in life because it will influence me to make safe decisions that will prevent issues in the present and the future. The part about sexually transmitted infections or STI’s were important because we learned how to prevent lifelong issues and for safety during and after sexual intercourse. Learning about this most likely convinced most students to use proper contraceptives which is very important.
