ADDENDUM
Overall, I’d say the digital footprint is now a very important part of adulthood. As stated in the presentation, many employers won’t hire you if they can’t find you online. I believe that employers do this to see what kind of person their potential employee is. They wouldn’t want someone who posts hate speech to be a part of their company, and they won’t take chances with wildcards.
In searching up my name, I could not find anything, though it is likely that it is obscured by more popular people with the same name, as my name is quite common. The only things I could find on me are under a pseudonym not easily linked back to me, and even then, the search results showed 2 of the 4 public account profiles I had under said pseudonym.
Thank you for sharing your commentary on how to monitor your online use and how to maintain a credible digital footprint. Below are some observations about your post:
– Details or explanations are extremely effective in answering the three questions regarding responsible online use
– Photos and or media is exemplary
– Great addendum adding more information
– Post is complete and well done!
Thank you,
