When making this podcast my group used multiple places to research on the water crisis. We learned how to use audacity to record the podcast. It took us accouple days to record since we did not have enough research and stuff written down the first time we tried recording.

When researching we mainly used google to find everything. We did use stuff on the riverside library for a day but after that we went back to google. We split different topics between different members. For example I would do access to the water while another member would do the health risks.

The biggest obstacle was not having enough information, and we talked way to fast when recording. The first time we recorded we only had around 3 minutes. So we went back and added more information where it was needed, and slowed down a bit when recording. By doing that we got around 6 minutes.

From doing this project I got better at learning how to research better and use audacity. I had to change things and thing of ways to add more time to the podcast so we could reach the 6 minute mark.

We used a lot of communication when researching. Figuring out who is going to say what, and recording the entire conversation we had about the water crisis.

Before this project I never knew there was a water crisis happening. I learned to value what we have more because some people don’t even have access to basic things. The indigenous people value everything from the water to the land.
