Solving systems by elimination
To solve this equation we have to create zero pairs and then add the 2 equations together. So in this equation I would multiply the second equation by -1 to create to make the equation -3x-y=-3 so when we add the equations together we get 4x=12 so then we divide everything by 4 to get x=3, then we plug the x value into one of the original equations to solve for Y so the equation would be 3(3)+y =3 so we first multiply 3 by 3 to get 9 then we have 9+y=3 so we have to subtract 9 from both sides which gives us a final equation of y=-6 so our coordinate is (3,-6)
