Week 7 Trigonometry – Burton Math 10

This Triangle is a Sin question because we have the Opposite and the Hypotenuse and SOH CAH TOA tells us that we have to use the SIN for this question, to find x in this question we have to take our equation of SIN (X) =  11/44 and the answer is .25 so it’s now SIN (x) = .25 so we bring the inverse sin of .25 and that is 14.4 so that is the angle for x.

This is a tangent question because we are using the Adjacent and Opposite sides.

We take the equation 11/tan53 which equals 25.5 which is the length of the side.

This is a cosine question cause we are using the hypotenuse and the adjacent.

so we take 11 / cos13 which equals 12.1 which is the length of the side
