Week 5 Math 10

This week I learned how to convert between Metric and Imperial for example yards to metres.

 

As you can see in this example we are taking 250 yds and trying to convert it into metres so what we do is turn 250 yds and put it over 1 then we take the conversion rate which is .9144 m = 1 yd so we put the metre on top and the yard on the bottom and then we multiply straight across and we end up 298.6 m which is our answer
