After winning a championship there is not a better place to be than Boston Pizza. When you walk in you are immediately greeted by friendly staff and a welcoming environment as well as the great scent of Italian spices and oil and can hear lots of hustle and bustle in the kitchen but the environment is calming despite the noise. Our group was promptly seated by our host and our drink orders were taken, about ½ hour later our orders were taken. our food arrived quite quickly considering we had a group of 35 people, even more impressive was that it was all still hot. A few of the favourites include the Boston Brute and Jambalaya. Boston Brute is a classic deli sandwich with a twist, this sandwich is best recognizable as a meat lovers pizza on a bun featuring freshly sliced salami, pepperoni and ham, covered with mozzarella and onions and is finished off with a drenching of pizza sauce all on a crunchy roll. If you’re more of a pasta person then you will love the Jambalaya Fettuccine which whisks you away to Bourbon St. with its Cajun kick, this bayou delight is fettuccine topped with Cajun shrimp, spicy Italian sausage, tomatoes, green peppers and a grilled to perfection chicken breast with chopped green onion. I always like to end off my meal with the panookie a decadent, fresh baked chocolate chip cookie topped with caramel and chocolate sauce and a scoop of rich vanilla ice cream. As well as the food, the reasonable price of all the food, a feeling of excitement and sports is one you get as soon as you walk in, the décor only boosts this atmosphere with jerseys of local and national sports stars and various memorabilia from the sports world. The booths are very spacious and comfy and often decorated with a specific sports teams banners and pennants. I would say some of the best memories I’ve ever had in my sporting career have been at a Boston Pizza this one is the most special because of the politeness of the staff, beautiful, sporty décor and delectable food. Some may say that chain restaurants aren’t as special as family owned small restaurants, I would disagree with that because this Boston Pizza is one you have to try.
