Sea Devil Sentences 

 

Exposition: In the first photo the man is getting ready to fish. With his rope, bucket, and boat. He is tying the rope around his wrist, and he is putting all his stuff in the boat. This photo fits into the plot point because it’s the beginning of the story. Mara is the Man, Hailey is the bucket, Natalie is the dock, and Brooke a tree in this photo. 

 

Initiating Incident: In this photo the man is throwing the net into the water, and it lands onto the Sea Devil. The man thought the Sea Devil is two different mullets. So, he threw the net onto but ended up getting the Sea devil. This photo fits into the plot because him catching the sea devil sets off the entire story. Mara is the man, Hailey is the fish, Natalie is the boat, and Brooke is the Sea Devil.  

 

Rising Action 1: In this photo the man is starting to fish. He catches a mullet and puts it in his boat. This photo shows the first point of excitement in the plot. Mara is the man; Natalie is the boat Hailey is the fish and Brooke is a tree.  

 

Rising Action 2: In this photo the man is getting pulled into the water by the Sea Devil. this photo fits into the plot because him getting pulled into the water is a key part of the action in the story. Mara is the man, Hailey is the water is back, Natalie is the boat, Brooke is the Sea Devil. 

 

Rising Action 3: In this photo the man is trying to break the rope and free himself by fighting the ray. The man and ray aren’t punching each other it’s just the only way we could think to portray them fighting. This photo fits into the plot point because him fighting the ray is a moment in the story where action is shown to be growing.  In the background there is a fish which is Hailey and a porpoise which is Natalie. Mara is the man and Brooke is the Sea Devil. 

 

Climax: In this photo the man has broken the rope and is now swimming to shore. If you look close enough, you can see that the yarn we used for the rope is breaking. Showing that he has broken the rope that was connecting the sea devil and him together. This photo fits into the plot because him breaking free is the main event of the story also nothing can get worse from when he broke free.  Mara is the man, Brooke is the Sea Devil, Hailey is a fish and Natalie is a porpoise. 

  

 

Falling Action: In this photo the man is releasing the mullet back into the water. This photo fits into the plot because when he realises the mullet it’s to the end of the story and the action that was happening has now fallen. Mara is the man, Hailey is the mullet, Brooke is a porpoise, and Natalie is a boat.  

 

Conclusion: In this photo the man is thinking in his boat. He realises that he has learned the perspective of the mullet he caught and that’s why he released it. Because he learnt that perspective, he has decided to stop fishing. This photo fits into the plot point because it’s the last thing that happens in the story and is a significant moment in the story. Mara is the man, Hailey is a bucket, Brooke is a tree, and Natalie is a boat.
