Canadian public broadcasting

Public broadcasting is a radio, television, and online service that is owned and run by either the government or the government and a private company, something like Apple or Hyundai. They use the money that the government gives them from tax dollars that they have collected from every Canadian for the running of the company, even if everyone is not going to use the service, they still have to pay for it. If they are a government and privately owned business, they will still take money from the government, but they will also take money from the private company. The primary reason that public broadcasting is a thing is for public service and is meant to spread propaganda about Canada and why it is so great. The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation more well known as the CBC is Canada’s public broadcaster. The CBC was created in 1936 during the Interwar years, before it was called CBC it was CRBC, CRBC was created in 1932. In 1938 – 1939 just in time for the second world war the CBC spread its edges to rural community’s. Like Gimli in Manitoba. The advantage of public broadcasting over private is that if the private company loses money, they may fold of go bankrupt, but the public broadcasting can’t do that as it is partially owned by the government. Some people might not agree with public broadcasting because it might not be what they would like to see. As public broadcasting might not be on the subject they would like to look at or agree with. Public broadcasting may appeal to the current audience since there are things people might enjoy such as Equestrian sports, golf, podcasts, kids shows and new, etc…
