1.What I know well about the periodic table
What I know well about the periodic table is, who helped create the periodic table, the valence shells in each family, and how many elements there are in the periodic table.
2. What I still need to work on regarding the periodic table
I need to work on identifying elements by given just their protons, the different states of elements in room temp. what the elements would like, if the elements are ductile, brittle, malleable, ect. how the period table is organized
3. What I wonder about the periodic table
I wonder how we know that the elements cannot be broken down, how we measured weight of electrons and protons and if there is more elements that we have not found yet.
4. What goals I will set to understand the periodic table better
The goals I have for myself is…
-I am able to find the family of an element immediately
-To know the different reactivities of each family
-To identify elements faster by just having the amount of protons given to me
Good work Bronwyn – sounds like you are learning a lot about the periodic table and excited to learn more.
Excellent job analyzing the data you received about your knowledge of the periodic table. Awesome to see you set learning goals that you shared with others who can help you. This will definitely help you succeed in your understanding of Science.
