Part 1:

Hello, I am a mutated X chromosome inside of a 23 year old man named Daquan. Daquan has red-green colour blindness. Daquan’s mother also carried a mutated X chromosome, but did not develop colour blindness because females have a smaller chance of getting colour blindness because they have two X chromosome’s instead of just one, so if one chromosome is mutated the other one takes over. Because of this, men have a 8% chance of being colour blind as for woman it is only a 0.5% chance. Anyways, the type of colour blindness Daquan has is called Protanopia which is, once again red-green colour blindness. Daquan has trouble when trying to colour coordinate his clothing and also he could not fulfill his lifelong dream of being a painter due to his colour palette being very odd. In the end Daquan goes on to live his life to the fullest not letting his colour blindness get the best of him. Everything went well until one day Daquan got hit by a car and died. Thankfully Daquan ended up having 7 daughters so my legacy shall continue. The End.

Part 2:

In order to create this story I had to ask these questions. What causes colour blindness? Is it hereditary? What are the chances of being colour blind? How does colour blindness affect someone’s life? To gather the information I used lots of websites I had never visited before and got good results. I looked up all of my questions and also just “colour blindness” and I ended up getting lots of great information. Then I simply made the story and got these results. I made sure to use trusted sites and no Wikipedia and even some government sites to assure my information was credible. For the process of this story I could have probably made a better ending, got slightly more information and also not have taken as long as I did.
