NOTE: This was not all of the Skype call, but it started to glitch out so we had to stop the call.

Tanya Harrison was on the operations team for NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, and also worked with the Mars Rover “Curiosity”, and helped choose what the rover took photos of and analyzed them. She wrote weather reports about Mars for the public as well. She decided to get a PhD in geography because she was interested in the surface of mars.

I reached my goal as I asked a question again this time. I asked “Were there any issues on during the landing of any of the Mars rovers?”. She said that none of the 3 Mars rovers had major issues, but there were other rovers before, specifically one from Europe that had issues. Supposedly the one from Europe crashed but later it was found via satellite that the rover was okay and they didn’t know why they lost contact with it.
