The story, “The Friday Everything Changed” is about a school which does not have a water resource by the way carrying the water is seen as a very important. Every friday, two boy which were enough big and strong and selected by Miss Ralston, had to go to carry the water from the station. The boys had been trying to be bigger than yesterday and compete with each other. One day everthing changed. Alma said: “Why can’t the girls go to carry the water?” Nobody had thought like Alma but now they interrogated themselves. When Miss Ralston heard that, she was so surprised what to do. However, she was asking herself, “Why can’t be?” Absolutely, the boys didn’t want to happen this event because they were enjoying and missing the school for 30 minutes while they were going to carry the water. Then time to announce the names of guys, who went to carry the water, by Miss Ralston: “Next week, Alma Niles and Joyce Shipley will go for the water.” It had been written a date by Alma Niles.
Another good one Berk !.. Continue and push yourself to improve more 🙂

Berk, this is well-written, and your topic sentence is good, but I’d like you to explain more why carrying the water is important to the story. Why is it some important to the girls and to the town they live in. Remember the class discussion.
