A) Unscrew one bulb. If all bulbs go out, they are connected in series. This happens because a series circuit is broken if any bulb is removed, stopping the current flow to all bulbs.
B) To determine if the three light bulbs are connected in parallel, unscrew one bulb and observe the remaining two. If the remaining bulbs stay lit with the same intensity, they are connected in parallel. In a parallel circuit, each bulb receives the same voltage, and removing one bulb does not affect the others.
C) Bulb A will be the brightest, with four times the intensity of Bulbs B and C. Bulbs B and C will have the same intensity, each being one-fourth as bright as Bulb A.
D) If one of the parallel bulbs is unscrewed, Bulb A and the remaining bulb will have the same intensity. Both will be equally bright.
