Science App Review

1) Consider a problem that could be solved by a useful app for your device.

You need to create a report on at least 5 elements

2) Brainstorm possible solutions to the problem.

You could google all the separate elements and create a list.

3) Find an app that attempts to solve the problem.

Isotope

4) Use the app. Run through the app and see how it can help you regarding your Science class.

Try to push the app to its limits, then create a review of the app.

This app could help us during our science class because it is a periodic table and when you click on an element a window pops up with information about that element, such as Atomic number, year discovered, atomic properties, thermodynamic properties, material properties, and weight. You can also see if it is radioactive. I like the app because instead of google searching every element they are all there waiting for you to copy down all the information.

The app is really intuitive and the information it gives you for the atom is above what I though it would be. The app is very straightforward and I really enjoy that. I thought I learned properties about the elements that I wouldn’t have found out otherwise.

There are not too many limitations to the app if any and I would highly recommend it because it is a free app. It does what it says it will do and it makes it interesting in a way. The one thing I wish was in the app was the ability to see the bhor diagram of the element, and to also see the ionic charges.

Overall rating 9/10

5) Debrief the quality of the process you went through

I think the quality was very good. I pushed the apps to its limits and got the information I needed to not only solve the original question in a timely manner but it was very interesting too.
